A JSF Express Boot camp features a total body workout that employs high-intensity work periods with short rest periods in an alternating set or circuit format that combines the muscle-building benefits of resistance training with the fat-burning benefits of interval training. Now- let us be clear: our workouts are tough and they are not for the weak of heart or mind. However, there are no cookie cutter workouts here. Each and every camper is taught the appropriate exercises that best match their current fitness level so that they can be challenged, but not overwhelmed:
Plus, you can only train at high-intensities for so long before nagging aches and pains will arise that will affect training. That’s why our program employs a 3 weeks on, 1 week off schedule to focus on longevity. The week off serves as a much needed mental and physical break from training to prevent burnout and unwanted injury. -Note- we also offer a 2 x per week -4 weeks on format as well-
We also change-up the workouts each month to keep things fun, exciting, and fresh and to prevent any dreaded weight loss or performance plateaus. By switching to a different interval protocol and a whole new slew of exercises, your body is given all of the stimulus it needs to keep changing like clockwork.
We believe that fitness is just as much about FEELING good as it is about LOOKING good. Plus, your results will suffer if you need to nurse an injury over an extended period of time that could have been prevented. Below is our final 2012 on-site training calendar for boot camp training. Our MWF- programs operate on a 3-weeks on, 1-week off training schedule. This format is scientifically proven to maximize training results while providing for the necessary pre-planned mental and physical regeneration for long-term success and injury prevention. The only exceptions to this format is a 2-1-2 format over July 4th weekend and end of year break during the busy and stressful Holiday season to provide complete recovery from a solid year of training. Note Tues-Thurs. runs x 2 per week all 52 weeks.

Question: Is your boot camp like military boot camps?
Answer: Boot camps are not a walk in the park but we have had all ages from low 20s to over 60 do boot camps. There is not going to be any military guy/gal yelling and breaking you down. Instead our Boot Camps are challenging with positive reinforcement given. JSF Express Camps are about building a person up physically, psychologically, and socially. We are dedicated to finding out how YOU can become YOUR best.

Question: What is the investment amount?
Answer: First, sign up for the one week free trial. For those that want to make sure it fits into a budget, the investment is about $11 a session depending on the option you chose. (Jeremy’s individual personal training fees are over $100 per hour. The group camp is a very good value!)

Question: Will you ever have other boot camp times and/or locations?
Answer: Most likely yes and the truth is there are opportunities arising everywhere. We will always consider any boot camp with 10 or more people committed for at least three months. There are fitness professionals available to make most times work. Finally, there are corporate opportunities.

Question: Do you focus on nutrition?
Answer: Of course we do…..nutrition is very important. Both nutrition and supplementation are an integral part of health, fitness, and fat loss. Every member gets a one on one coaching session, nutrition advice, grocery store tour and all the tools you need to be shed those unwanted pounds. Question: How much weight will I lose?
Answer: FAT LOSS is different than weight loss. Losing weight is easy, losing fat and staying trim for life is different. If someone needed to lose a lot of weight they could not eat for a week and do a ton of cardio, but this is not a long term solution. (DO NOT DO THIS). The biggest myth in the weight loss industry today is that people should stop eating (or restrict to really low calories) and do more exercise. Yes, you need to be at a reasonable calorie level and, yes, you need to exercise but the right way to lose FAT is different than losing weight.
