Consistency is KING……
Once you’ve decided what you want to do and started doing it…the real differentiator is staying the course.
I can’t tell you how many people I’ve spoken with who have eating better, but stopped a week in because it wasn’t a home run right out of the gate.
Or they began meal prepping or tracking macros only to ‘get busy’ and stop.
If your best friend came to you and didn’t drop 20 lbs during week one of a new fitness program, and stopped because of it, you’d tell them to “stay the course” and “keep going” “give it time”
You should follow your own advice.
Rarely, if ever, do we reach our goals on the first attempt.
And frankly, if we do…we either set our goals too low or it was a bit of a fluke.
If you want to achieve anything meaningful, you need to stay the course. So be consistent.
I am not the most talented or smartest person on earth, but I am one of the most consistent.
Wake up early
Practice my mobility
Read –Study –Learn
Eat Real Food
Avoid sugar and booze
Budget my finances
Spend far less than I make
Get quality sleep….
And the result is over time my life been elevated to levels I never thought possible.
The key is just being consistent with my efforts towards by daily goals, and not get discouraged by failures or road blocks along the way.
I promise you If you do the same with your habits it can change everything.
Until next time eat well, train hard & be nice to people.
